Spianata Romana Salame is produced from the loin and pancetta of pork. It is first oven cooked and then grilled resulting in a crispy outer layer. Seasoned with salt, pepper and rosemary, the salame tastes slightly spicy and has a delicate aroma. Pinkish in colour, the slice is surrounded by pearly white fat.
