VENCHI Gourmet Chocolatier with 140 Years of Passion Behind Delectable Creations
In the late 19th century, Silvano Venchi began experimenting with creating chocolate flavours in the Piedmont region of Italy. In 1878, and at the young age of 16, he was able to expand his home workshop of one large copper kettle and begin his “Chocolate Boutique” which allowed him to share his passion for chocolate with his community. He soon became famous for his hand-crafted, chocolate jewels made only of the highest quality ingredients and launching his first confection, the Giandujotto, which included 32% IGP Piedmont hazelnuts and his hand-made ambrosian chocolate.
Only the best ingredients have made it past the Venchi chocolatiers for over 140 years. These confectionary artisans continue to discover new flavours and chocolate combinations that always amaze and delight. Venchi chocolate is designed for moments of celebration, fun and love - the Italian way - with heartfelt generosity, warmth and art combined to make everyone smile.
