Alce Nero, the Italian organic cooperative, makes this mixed fruit puree in Italy from organic apples, pears and apricots grown in Italian orchards. Apple leads at 64%, pear follows at 27% and apricot adds the last 9%, with ascorbic acid to keep the colour fresh. The three fruits give a smooth, golden puree with a rounded sweetness and a light apricot finish. Each 80g portion is a single serving: enjoy it as a snack from the spoon, swirl it through plain yoghurt or porridge, or spoon it beside a slice of plain cake. Supplied as a twin pack of two 80g glass jars, stored at ambient temperature; refrigerate once opened and use within 24 hours.
