Pear - Organic Fruit Puree 100g

Alce Nero, the Italian organic cooperative, makes this single-fruit puree in Italy from organic pears grown in Italian orchards. The ingredient list is one line long: organic pear puree, and nothing else. The recipe is kept simple so the puree tastes like ripe pear itself, smooth, pale and naturally sweet, with the soft graininess fresh pear gives. Serve it as a snack on its own, stir it into plain yoghurt or ricotta, or warm it gently and spoon it over porridge or rice pudding. Supplied in a 100g squeezable pouch with a screw cap, stored at ambient temperature; refrigerate once opened and use within 24 hours.
