A spread rather than a plain tinned tuna: Callipo blends 42% yellowfin with tomato pulp, capers and a mayonnaise base into a smooth, savoury pate that still carries small pieces of fish throughout. The result is rich without being heavy, and soft enough to spread straight from the jar with no mashing or mixing. Use it on crostini and grissini for aperitivo, as a filling for halved eggs or celery sticks, stirred into a cold rice salad, or spread in a sandwich with rocket. Supplied in a 135g glass jar; refrigerate once opened and use within a few days. Contains egg and fish. Product of Italy.
