Thanksgiving - Turkey, gravy & much more to celebrate with friends & family!

Ciao! The holiday season is always special because it allows us to get together with our family + close friends and create new memories. When it comes to traditions, every household has a different one - either passed down through generations or a few new ones picked along the way over years. But, at the heart of it all remains one unchangeable thing, and that is food. One such beautiful holiday filled with delicious food is Thanksgiving Day.

As per history, in the USA, the first-ever thanksgiving was celebrated in the year 1621, and even though Italians do not traditionally celebrate this holiday, they have their own version known as 'Giorno del Ringraziamento’.

Now, what does a traditional Thanksgiving dinner table look like?

At the center of every thanksgiving dinner, a beautifully roasted turkey will forever remain a must-have. A huge amount of preparation + time goes into making sure the T-day turkey roast perfect, but all these efforts are well worth it when you and your family get to enjoy it throughout the day!

Turkey is not the only option that is thanksgiving worthy. If you are planning to entertain only 2-3 people and would love to save all the extra effort + time, you can opt for a whole chicken which will be a perfect pick for a small family!

Thanksgiving can not be all about just turkey now, can it?! We do love our fabulous trimmings, but to be honest, what's not to love? Mashed potatoes - yum! Cranberry sauce - tasty! Brussels sprouts + chestnut salad - yes, please!

Any meal is incomplete without a heart-filling portion of dolce and if it is a holiday dinner then the dessert should also be that special! With all the fresh pumpkins in season and readily available in the market, the go-to dessert option for thanksgiving is a fabulous pumpkin pie.

But, if you are not a pumpkin pie kind of family, you can also go ahead and prepare some delicious apple pie or just enjoy some store-bought delicious cake and enjoy a hassle-free get-together
