Camp'Oro

Pastificio Camp'Oro, founded in 1999 by four sisters in the small town of Sant'Elia a Pianisi, Molise, is rooted in a deep love for their land and its rich agricultural traditions. Inspired by the golden wheat fields surrounding their hometown, the Colavita sisters revived the ancient art of pasta-making, which had once defined their village but had faded over time. Their mission was to honour their heritage by producing artisanal pasta using methods passed down through generations.

At Camp'Oro, quality is paramount. The sisters carefully select high-protein durum wheat semolina, blending traditional wisdom with modern craftsmanship. Every step in the process—from hand-mixing the dough with pure mountain water to shaping the pasta with hand-crafted machines—ensures their pasta retains the perfect texture and flavour. Slow-drying each batch at low temperatures preserves its nutritional qualities and creates a pasta that holds sauces beautifully.

Today, Camp'Oro continues to produce pasta with the same passion and dedication that began decades ago. By focusing on quality over quantity and respecting the natural rhythms of production, the Colavita sisters ensure their pasta reflects the authentic flavours of their land and brings the spirit of Molise to kitchens worldwide.
