Founded by Panagiotis Paltsidis, Paltsidis has been a beacon of savoury delicacy craftsmanship since 1975. What began as a small venture blossomed into a sprawling production unit spanning 14,000m2 in Neochorouda, Thessaloniki, by 1980. Innovation has always been at the heart of Paltsidis, with the introduction of a new line of dressings in the mid-80s and a patented top-down packaging system for ketchup, mustard, and salad displays in 1993.
Throughout the years, Paltsidis has expanded its product range to include seafood and agricultural products, all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to quality. Achieving ISO quality certification in 2000 marked a significant milestone, followed by the establishment of a dedicated food unit and further facility expansions in 2005. Venturing into exports and the retail market in the late 2000s propelled Paltsidis onto the international stage, earning accolades such as the International Taste Institute's award for superior quality in tzatziki and taramosalata.
In recent years, Paltsidis has continued to invest in research and development, as well as marketing efforts, to strengthen its workforce and solidify its position in the market. The unveiling of a new corporate identity in 2019, alongside obtaining FSSC 22000 and IFS quality certifications, underscores Paltsidis' unwavering commitment to excellence. As the journey continues, Paltsidis remains dedicated to expansion, renovation, and the pursuit of culinary innovation.
