Rummo

In June 2021, the Italian Ministry of Economic Development issued a celebrative stamp to mark the 175th anniversary of Pasta Rummo. The company celebrated with special edition packaging and introduced recyclable paper packaging in May 2021. In October 2020, they launched whole wheat pasta made with 100% Italian grain, showcasing their commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Pasta Rummo's journey began in 1846 when Antonio Rummo started milling wheat and making pasta in Benevento. Over the years, the company expanded its product range and production capabilities, introducing gluten-free pasta in 2015, legume pasta, and Spaghettoni Grossi No. 220 between 2016 and 2018. Despite challenges like the massive flooding in October 2015, Rummo continued to grow, supported by community solidarity.

Rummo has consistently focused on quality and sustainability, earning Bureau Veritas certification in April 2011 for the resistance of its pasta to overcooking. The company's innovations include launching organic and organic whole wheat lines in February 2011 and receiving the "Innovation, Environment's Friend" award in 2010 for reducing CO2 emissions by 30%. Their dedication to excellence is evident in every production phase, formalized with the introduction of Rummo Lenta Lavorazione® in 2005.
