A creamy, flavour-packed dish with mushrooms, premium white truffle paste from Casinetto, and a touch of elegance in every bite. Perfect for any special occasion or a cosy night in!
- 200g pasta (linguini recommended)
- 60g butter
- 70g onion, finely chopped
- 100g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 75g white truffle paste
- Black truffle paste (optional, for garnish)
- Chives (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Prepare the Base
- Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-8 minutes until they soften and change colour.
- Create the Sauce
- Pour in the chicken stock and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the Truffle Flavour
- Mix the white truffle paste into the sauce. Adjust the amount to suit your taste.
- Combine with Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and add it to the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
- Serve and Garnish
- Plate the pasta and, if desired, top with a dollop of black truffle paste. Sprinkle finely chopped chives for a fresh and elegant finish.
